Charming transitional model, the Jaguar Mk.V had elements of the past such as the 2664 and 3485cc inline 6-cylinder engines and innovative features such as the torsion bars and hydraulic brakes of the XK120. Produced from 1948 to 1951 in sedan and convertible configuration, the Mk.V was a car with a correct behavior, even if not as precise as that of a sports car. 1675 exemplars were produced with the 2.5-liter engine and 8791 with the 3.5-liter unit.
