At the 1966 Paris Motor Show, OSI presented a very original berlinetta with a sporting air, called the Scarabeo and equipped with the 1600cc engine of the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA, mounted in a rear transverse position, in a single block with the transmission. The chassis echoed the concepts of the Alfa Romeo 33 competition, with a tubular structure that contained the two petrol tanks, to the right and left of the passenger compartment. The design was extremely bold, with a long, low muzzle and a truncated tail. The passenger compartment was accessed by lifting the entire central part of the bodywork.
