After winning the Formula 1 drivers' title with Nigel Mansell and the constructors' in 1992, Williams made it again the following season. To clinch the 1993 title was Alain Prost. A success that the French driver achieved thanks to the seven victories scored with the FW15C. This single-seater, designed by Adrian Newey and Patrick Head, was also driven by Damon Hill, in turn the author of three wins and ultimately third in the general classification. The Williams FW15 was still equipped with electronic aids, which had been banned since 1994. These included the anti-slip system and active suspension. Evolution of the FW14B used the previous year, the car came with important aerodynamic innovations. The engine used was the 3.5-liter V10 Renault delivering 760 hp. Weighing 505 kg, it had a monocoque carbon fiber frame, with a wheelbase of 2,921 mm.
