Built in May 1962, the GTO 3527GT chassis was initially sold to the Austrian Gottfried Koechert, but soon returned to Maranello where it was sold to Jacques Swaters of Ecurie Francorchamps. In 1962 he participated in numerous important races, such as the 1000km of the Nurburgring, the Tour Auto and the 1000km of Paris. It then passed to the Filipinetti Scuderia and to Armand Boller.
