Stanley Harold Arnolt was a Chicago millionaire who wanted to bring custom British cars to the United States. He acquired a lot of chassis from Aston Martin, which he entrusted to the Italian coachbuilder Bertone. Three cars received in 1953 a bodywork in a very original and elegant style due to Franco Scaglione, aeronautical engineer then stylist, considered as one of the most original personalities of the Italian bodywork development. The three frames signed by Scaglione were the LML / 502, 505 and 507.
