The Tatra was a Czech manufacturer, reputed for its original concepts due to the talent of the brilliant Hans Ledwinka. Production was very heterogeneous, from economy cars to large aerodynamic rear-engined sedans. The T57 series was launched in 1931 and was equipped with a 1155cc 4-cylinder engine; the second series (T57A) took over from the first in 1935, keeping the same engine, while the third series (T57B, produced from 1939 to 1940) adopted a more modern 1256 4-cylinder, also mounted on some military versions (T57K, 1941- 1947). Of the T57 were built fittings, convertible, sedan, torpedo, van and so on.
