Conceived by Virgil Exner on the basis of a Plymouth Valiant chassis and equipped with a NASCAR-spec 6-cylinder engine, the XNR concept car was particularly distinguished by an effort to integrate the front and rear bumpers. The car, built in 1960, belonged to the Shah of Iran and has recently been restored.
