The second series of Twingo had the not easy task of replacing a kind of myth. Abandoning the rounded lines of the original series, the Twingo II, in production since 2007, adopted a more conventional look, even if the restyling of the end of 2011 tried to restore some sympathy. The Twingo II has tried to widen the offer of engines and versions as much as possible, including a sports car, the RS Gordini, and some diesel. The Twingo II went out of production in 2014.
