A large sedan with a 3442cc in-line 6-cylinder engine, the Jaguar Mk.VII was marketed in 1950. Considered to be at the forefront of behavior, the car was offered with different transmission variants, including one with overdrive (optional since 1954). The engine too could count on several preparation steps, including an interesting package (from April 1953) that offered the cylinder head of the C-Type, which shared the 3442cc engine with the Mk.VII. The Mk.VII was produced until 1954, when it was replaced by the Mk.VIIM.
