It was not easy to replace a legendary car like the Countach. In 1990 Lamborghini ceased production after almost twenty years, presenting the Diablo, which immediately met the favors of the public. Over the years the Diablo was fitted with various engines, from 5.7 liters to 6.0 with more extreme versions such as the GT, SV, VT up to the GTR, a competition version intended for the monomake series that up to that time had been run with the SV-R. In 1999 the Diablo Roadster made its appearance. In 2001 the Diablo was discontinued, with a last edition, the 6.0 Special, produced in about fifty units.
