The mid-engined Porsche 918 Spyder was presented as a concept car at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2010 and in definitive trim in Atlanta in 2013. It was the first hybrid vehicle designed by the German manufacturer. Intended for a short-run production (918 units), output ended in 2015; the largest number of exemplars was sent to the American market.
