ESVAL MODEL - ADLER - TRUMPF JUNIOR 4-DOOR BERLINE 1934

The house founded in 1880 by Heinrich Kleyer (1853-1932) was known for its bicycles and typewriters when it launched a car with a single cylinder engine in 1900. From 1904 Adler built its own multi-cylinder engines. In 1914, the range only consisted of 4-cylinder cars with displacements from 1.3 to 9.2 liters. At the end of the 1920s, 6 and 8 cylinder engines appeared and in 1932 the Trumpf was presented, a front-wheel drive 1500 which was also built under license in Belgium by Imperia and in France by Rosengart. The 995cc Junior was still successful but from 1945 Adler devoted itself exclusively to motorcycles.
