After a first version presented in 1958, Mercury renewed its Park Lane in 1964. This model, which was at the top of the range, was available with the Breezeway option whose rear window could be lowered to better ventilate the cabin. This solution required the glass to be mounted at a reverse angle, as on the Citroen Ami 6 or the Ford Anglia.
