This 330 GT 2 + 2 Series I, chassis number 6537GT, was imported to the United States in 1965 by Luigi Chinetti Motors to be delivered to its owner John W. Mecom Jr, a wealthy Texan oil entrepreneur and racing enthusiast (Mecom Racing Team participated in particular in the Sport and Formula 1 Championship between 1960 and 1967). This 330 GT 2 + 2 already had the particularity of being equipped with a four-speed overdrive gearbox and four headlights, before being sent back to Maranello to undergo the transformation of the nose wanted by W. Mecom Jr. He resold it in 1969 to an American collector. Reappeared in 2007, the 330 has been completely restored.
