The Mazda MX5 (NA), sold in Japan as the Eunos Roadster and in North America as the Mazda MX5 Miata, was the first generation of the Mazda spyder manufactured from 1989 to 1997. Inspired by the post-war era British sports cars, the MX5 awaked interest in this kind of car after the demise of historic cars such as the MGB and Triumph Spitfire. The MX5 made history, mixing reliability and driving fun.
