As a convertible (commercialized from July 2004), the Mini R52 series was based on the engines of the sedans: 1600cc with 90 horsepower (One), 115 (Cooper) and 170 (Cooper S). The JCW variant (210hp) was also marketed as a convertible. Interesting and rare is the Sidewalk limited series (January 2007). Production went on until 2009.
