In Brazil the popular Volkswagen Beatle was called Fusca and was manufactured under license from 1952. This allowed the German brand to expand its market and create several cars unknown in Europe. One of these models could have been a Break version of the Beetle, but VW had already presented the 1600 family, which, however, only arrived on the Brazilian market in 1968.
