At the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Porsche presented the most powerful road going 911 ever. The series 991-2 GT2 RS was something between a GT3 RS and a Turbo S. The engine featured the well known base of the Turbo S (3.8 litres) but was strengthened and now boasted no less than 700 bhp. All the mechanicals and the whole chassis were considerably lighter, the latter much resembling the GT3 RS type. The roof was in magnesium and the door were in carbon fibre.
