Better looking than the model 2.6 (1948-1953), the Lagonda 3-liter drophead was marketed from 1953 until 1957. Lagonda was a historic brand, purchased in 1947 by Aston Martin. The 3.0 drophead, equipped with the 2922cc 6-cylinder engine also fitted to the 2- and 4-door sedan, was a luxurious car but too heavy and expensive. Production (including the sedan) totalled around 270 units.
