The coupé version of the Peugeot 404 sedan was presented at the Paris Motor Show in 1962. Designed by Pininfarina, this coupé echoed some aesthetic elements of the sedan, but with a higher lateral line, which rose to the height of the fender. The roof pavilion was very bright, with a light and graceful design.
