Early 2014, Mercedes presented the new V-class, which replaced the Viano. The V-class name thus entered the Mercedes catalogue again after the monospace produced from 1997 to 2002. Taking up some elements of the engines and chassis of the C and E classes, the V was only available with a 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine. There were three length configurations provided.
