The HK500, in production from 1957 to 1961, was an improved version of the FV. Two engines were adopted, both V8s: a 5907 and a 6286cc, supplied by Chrysler. About 500 units were produced and over the years continuous improvements were introduced, such as the four disc brakes, offered since 1960.
