The 2007 Honda Civic Type-R marked a radical break with the previous model, but only from an aesthetic point of view. From a mechanical point of view, in fact, Honda had decided to keep the 2000cc of the previous series, with the power going from 200 to… 201 horsepower. Modified in the power output curve, however, the engine became less "bad", thanks also to the intervention of the traction and stability control, which could be switched off by the driver. The Civic Type-R of this generation went out of production in February 2012.
