The 1982 Volkswagen Golf Caddy was produced during the period of great pickup truck expansion in the United States. The car was manufactured in the American factories in Westmoreland, Pennsylvania. The Caddy was the first commercial version of the popular Golf. It was also produced in Bosnia-Herzegovina, destined for European markets.
