The Cup version of the Porsche 911 997 series was present in competition from 2005 to 2010. Conceived for the Porsche single-make, it made its debut with the 3.6-liter engine. In 2010, the version based on the 997-II was presented, featuring several aerodynamic changes, including the rear wing supports in forged aluminum. The engine passed, as on the production car, to 3.8 liters and in the latest versions it gave about 450 horsepower.
