The Porsche 911 RSR-19 debuted in the second half of 2019, replacing the previous model that had been used for some seasons. The bodywork is different from the previous model, and the engine, mounted in the rear-center position, is a boxer 6-cylinder aspirated 4.2-liter, the largest so far seen on a 911. The gearbox is sequential with 6 gears. The exhausts have been rearranged on the sides, which has improved the aerodynamics of the car.
