A solid and reliable classic Volvo, the 122S went into production in 1958 with the B16B series. The car was also able to gain a sporting reputation, thanks to its performances especially in rallies. In 1961 the second series (B18D) was introduced, which also included a coach body. The 122 went out of production in 1969.
