In 1917, Henry Leland left the Cadillac he had created in 1902 to start a new company, Lincoln. The first model was a high quality V8 but with particular lines, which did not meet with the hoped for success. Henry Ford acquired Lincoln in 1922, entrusting its presidency to his son Edsel, who created some extraordinary bodies. The KB series of the 1930s was equipped with V12 engines with different body styles: coupé, cabriolet, sedan, limousine, coupé de ville. The displacements varied, for example from 6.8 liters of the 271 model to 7.3 liters of the 251.
