Pickups are a real institution in the United States. The most popular of the pickups was probably the Ford F Series. The sixth generation, introduced in 1973, saw the arrival of the F-150 model, which became a best seller of the brand. The engines were all V8, with displacements from 3933 to 7538cc; numerous configurations and variants. This F series model remained in production until 1979.
