The most popular version of the BMW 3 Series Coupé E36 was certainly the M3, but the entire range offered interesting engines. Introduced in 1992, that is some time after the new sedan, the 3 Series Coupé was based on some 4-cylinder versions: the 316i (1.6 liters for 102 horses) and the 318iS, first with a 1.8 liters, then, from 1996, with a 1.9-liter. As for the 6 cylinders, the offer began with the 2-liter 150 horsepower of the 320i to continue with the 2.5-liter 170hp for the 323i, 192hp for the 325i, replaced in 1995 by the 328i (2.8-liter engine from 193 hp). The E36 Coupé was produced until 1998.
