Presented in May 2019 and marketed starting in September of the same year, the McLaren GT is closer to the tradition of Gran Turismo than to the purely sporting DNA that characterizes most McLarens. The engine is a 3994cc twin-turbo V8 with 620 horsepower at 7500 rpm. The GT is the "smallest" car in the McLaren range, with a mass greater than that of the 540/570, now out of production, and less power than the Artura V6.
Welly, which is based in Hong Kong, began producing die-cast toy vehicles in 1979. The brand was characterized by a very varied range with different scales, but from the early 2000s it also began to deal with models for the collector market, always at various scales.
