In autumn 2019 Mercedes began marketing the GLB, a small-class SUV, which appeared to be inspired by the G-class. Shorter than the Nissan X-Trail, it still had a seven-seat configuration. The GLB offers two petrol and two diesel engines. The most powerful version is the 35AMG with a 306 horsepower 2000cc turbo engine.
