Despite appearances, the Audi 90 Quattro B3 series was never a true sports car. Presented in 1988, it was also available with a 20-valve engine, which however lacked elasticity and temperament, especially in the first version, produced until 1989. In general, all the engines of the 90 Quattro were not very rewarding, combined with too much suspension adjustment tourism, which compromised the effectiveness and accuracy of behavior. The 90 Quattro B3 was produced until 1991.
