Introduced in 1969, the second series of the Triumph 2000 had a lower and longer front line, a larger trunk, newly designed wheels and lots of small detail improvements. The engine, a 1998cc in-line 4-cylinder, remained unchanged, but in 1975 the power was increased, on the occasion of the production of the SW version (1969-1975). From that moment the sedan took the name 2000TC and continued to be produced until 1977.
