For 2013, Audi continued to develop the LMP1 R18 with major aerodynamic updates, such as the shape of the front splitter, the front wheel arches and the rear wing, which had some elements inspired by the Toyota TS030. Until 2014, the competition between Audi and Toyota in the LMP1 class of the WEC prompted both manufacturers to study the folds of the regulations in depth. Audi won again at Le Mans, with McNish / Kristensen / Duval.
