At the beginning of the 2000s, there were few premium GTIs around and the Alfa Romeo 147 GTA was born perhaps to stand up to competition from the Audi S3. The already known smooth bodywork was combined with a large 3.2-liter 250-horsepower engine at 6200 rpm. Result? Lots of understeer but also a lot of fun, with acceleration from 0 to 100 in just 6 "3 and a top speed of 246 km / h. The 147 GTA remained in production from 2003 to 2006.
