The Brabham BT22 was built as a one-off for the first five races of the 1966 Formula 1 season. Equipped with the 2750cc Coventry Climax engine, it was driven by Denis Hulme while waiting for the BT20 to be ready. The only result was a fourth place in the International Trophy.
