Available as an Europe version, the Cadillac Allanté was also marketed in the old continent. The engine was a classic American V8. As far as the bodywork was concerned, Cadillac focused on the prestige of Made in Italy design: the body was in fact designed by Pininfarina. This convertible was characterized by quite good aerodynamic qualities, with values difficult to obtain on an open car. Among the advantages of the car were the excellent stability, the very elastic engine and a rather advanced automatic transmission.
