Together with the 250P prototype presented at Monza in March 1963, Ferrari also unveiled a berlinetta called 330 LMB, equipped with the 12-cylinder engine in the 4-liter version that had also been seen on some GTOs of the previous year. The 330 LMB was built in only four units; in the lines the 330 could recall both the 250 GTO and the 250 GTL, with the characteristic short tail. The 330 LMB was used in various races in 1963, and made its debut at the 12 Hours of Sebring, driven by Lorenzo Bandini and Mike Parkes. Three cars were also entered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, including a right-hand drive for the British importer Maranello Concessionaires. Other 330 LMB outings were at Bridgehampton and at the Brands Hatch Guards Trophy.
