The Formula 2 configuration was derived from the centrally driven Porsche Spyder RSK. The 1498cc engine, marked with the initials 547/3, largely corresponded to those mounted on the 550 and 718. At the beginning of its use it had an output of approx. 160 horses. At the beginning of 1962 a 1500cc type 547/6 four overhead camshaft engine reached 187 horsepower and subsequently a third version reached 189.

Tecnomodel, a historic brand of Italian artisan model making, is today a manufacturer of excellent quality models, in 1:18 and 1:43 scale, manufactured in China. Tecnomodel was appreciated in the past with high-level products, kits and assembled in 1:43 scale, and then adapted to the new needs of the market. Today the Tecnomodel catalog is focused on racing cars: F.1 cars, Sports Prototypes and so on. Recently, the production of 1:43 scale subjects has also been resumed.
