The third series of the Hillman Minx was marketed starting in 1959. New grille and a more modern design tail characterized this restyling, as well as more effective brakes, redesigned interior spaces and some optional accessories. Series III was equipped with 4-cylinder 1494 and 1592cc engines. This generation is in turn divided into three sub-series: IIIA 1959-60, IIIB 1960-61 and IIIC 1961-63.
