Development of the 312 model, the Wartburg 353, produced in East Germany, had a long career and was marketed in various configurations: sedan, family (called Tourist), pick-up, van. Production continued until the late 1980s, when the 992cc unit had now been replaced by the 1.3-liter Volkswagen engine.

Whitebox is a German brand specialized in the marketing of 1:24 diecast models. These are models derived from newsstand series but offered in different versions and colours, with a particularly advantageous quality-price ratio. The subjects are both road and racing cars.
